Did you know that Aerosmith have been playing together for the last 32 years? They formed in 1970, but their debut album came out in 1973.

The re-released "Dream On" on their third album (Toys In The Attic - 1975), which then became a hit. :)

Joe Perry once left the band because of in-fighting and drug abuse problems. He returned 5 years later...

In 1986 they made a comeback by joining with Run DMC to sing "Walk This Way".

What little bits do you know about Aerosmith? :)

They're from Sunapee New Hampshire, which is about 2-3 hours away from where I live...and his sister works at North Walpole Primary School. :D

I know they performed "Shut Up And Dance" on the "Wayne's World 2" soundtrack.

I know Steven Tyler enjoyed putting his daughter in provocative clothing and sick sexual situations in several videos from the early 90s (Just my opinion, just my opinion ;))

Once in the early '80s before he could go on stage in Toronto, Steven Tyler had to go up to Nazareth guitarist Billy Rankin and ask him to help pull out the needle stuck in his arm.

While Joe Perry was out of Aerosmith, he formed the Joe Perry Project, which never sold very many LPs.

While trying to write a song, the band became frustrated. They had the guitar riff done, but couldnt think of a lyric. They took a break and went to see YOUNG FRANKENSTIEN. After the movie, and a few drinks, they were walking back to their apartment, when Joe Perry decided to imitate one of the charectors from the movie. He hunched over, and looked back at his friends and said "Walk This Way" and did a funny walk. The rest is HISTORY.

DUDE LOOKS LIKE A LADY was supposedly inspired by Steven Tyler seeing a photo of Vince Neil in full makeup, and wondering if it was a girl or not.

Aerosmith has thier own Roller Coaster at a theme park.

Steven Tyler and Joe Perry called themselves the TOXIC TWINS, in a jab at Kieth Richards and Mick Jagger who are refered to as the GLIMMER TWINS. They had shirts made that resembled tour T Shirts, that listed all the drug rehab facilities they were ever in.

Steven Tyler contributed a cover of the "Sesame Street" song "I Love Trash" to the 30th Anniversary "Elmopalooza!" album.

Not sure about this but I heard that Steven Tyler's wife (at the time) made his costumes. For instance the one he wears in "Dude Looks Like A Lady".
