Remember when life in space was all about brown velvet, lip gloss and blow-waved hair? I hear Battlestar Galactica may be making a comeback. I hope if it does, it remains faithful to the style statements of the original show.
Check out this hilarious article if you've been "smoking plant vapor".

Ahh! I don't have time to read that article right now but I will check it out as soon as I can! I was a big fan of Battlestar Galactica! It was my favorite TV show for a long time growing up. It was like watching Star Wars every night (or once a week when it was new). Even though it looks really corny now (same space scenes over and over again) - the special effects were cool back then. I do hear about a reunion every now and then and I hope they do it one day. I would certainly watch it.. I think the Star Wars producers (or whatever) sued them at one point. Unreal...

I remember eatin like 4 or 5 boxes of some crappy cereal (cheerios I think) and sendin th eUPC's to some address with like $5.00. I was sent a BATTLESTAR GALACTIA "play set" It consisted of a large cardboard cutout that you could set up on a table, and when you sat down, it looked like the view from inside thier fighter ships. I fealt majorly ripped off, but hell, it was cool THEN.

Cardboard cutout?! What the nuts is that?! hehe I'd have been pissed too! I hate when they play games like that. Made it look really good on the box, right?

Didn't some kid lose an eye to one of those missile-launching Galactica models?
