Okay. Which is it that you use? I use Internet Explorer 5.1
Most AOL users use a proprietary version of Internet Explorer.
Are you using Netscape Navigator? Which version? Do you know some versions have bugs? Have you tried coming here in Internet Explorer? It looks much nicer..
So many different versions of Netscape Navigator have so many different problems, that some companies have given up on them..
For the best web browsing experience, use Internet Explorer 4 or later..
So.. Who's using what?

Ii used to only use Netscape. Now I prefer Explorer. There are several features to Netscape that I prefer, like "save image as." I prefer the Netscape newsreader, but I prefer the Explorer/Outlook mail client.
I've been using Netscape since it was Mosaic 1.0b, back in the first few months of the Web. Before that I used Lynx, the text interface. Explorer just tends to be more user friendly, unlike most Microsquish products.
Now, if I could just figure out why Explorer at home won't allow me to click on links within UBB forums... This "copy shortcut, paste, return" thing is getting *old.*

IE 5 all the way baby! My apologies to any Netscape fans out there, but I must voice my opinion in saying NETSCAPE SUCKS!! From a web designer's point of view, it just don't cut the mustard. IE is more versatile and uses all the latest HTML, DHTML, javascript...you name it, IE uses it to the fullest. Netscape...nope...junk! Besides that, NS made my site look like crap for so long...I don't know how it looks now, but it used to butcher my site http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/mad.gif

I used to like Netscape too. 3.0 was good and 4.0 was really great. But then IE came out with their version 4 and it was better.
There are so many bug versions of Navigator. Especially v4.6! Upgrade if you are using it.
Otherwise, Netscape doesn't know how to read cascading style sheets (what makes the links light up when you glide the mouse over them), when you see a radio button (like when choosing a post icon), it's shows up as a white square with a circle in it (in Netscape). Tables don't work right.. So many little problems that it all ads up to annoyance! Netscape 6.0 (coming soon) doesn't look much better..

yeah...no CSS, but there are javascripts available to do mouseovers for Netscape. Hassle, hassle, hassle....it's just not worth it. Netscape might as well just throw in the towel. My site stats show that only about 15% of my visitors use NS. The rest is all IE and AOL.

For the average or beginner internet surfer, NS is ok, but once you get into web design and the newer and better features of web sites, IE is the only one you can really use. Slowly but surely, NS is fading out of existance...I want it GONE FOREVER!! It would make designers lives so much easier not to have to worry about optimizing for two browsers http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/tongue.gif
