Also cant leave out Automan, but the cartoons were what made my school days bearable- Transformers and G.I.Joe getting the big priority! Love this 80sxchange! Cool people, great everything heh! ------------------ "It is the end of the beginning"- President R.R. I swear I planned my life around the tv guide. Growing Pains, Family Ties, Head of the Class, Wonder Years, Different Strokes, Facts of Life, and of course Happy Days! One's I could live without..Full House..Perfect Strangers (don't be ridiculous..that got on my nerves!) (sorry, I know you guys liked it, but I didn't!) I don't think I ever did see "Square Pegs"..I can't even catch reruns of that show, I feel like I missed out on something. ------------------ Check ya later-I'm outta here!*Nikki* sarge 9-21-00, 02:26 AM Always tried to catch "Airwolf" when I could. Also remember watching an obscure and now-forgotten series called "Something Is Out There" about an alien girl or something (starred Miriam D'Abo). ------------------ Zel 10-23-00, 06:29 AM Speaking of Head of the Class... whatever happened to the girl with the long curly red hair. The list goes on and on. I can't think of a single show on the air now that I like enough to watch every week. I haven't even plugged in my TV in about 3 weeks. I guess I've been too busy with the MEGA 80's Cartoon Campaign (see my site below). I havent even updated my site this month, really. Yikes. Gotta run. I always had to tune in to see what Murdoch was going to do next, how was the A TEAM going to drug B.A. in order to get him on a plane? How many times would I get to see that HOT CHICK they had the first few seasons (Melinda Cullea i believe was her name). Plus it was always fun watching them shoot about 9000 rounds of ammo and never kill anybody. Ron ------------------ My morals are beyond reproach and I will brutally murder anybody who says different. Roemello 11-02-00, 05:20 PM I still watch the A-Team every so often. It's on TV Land late at night...Murdoch is a psycho http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif I remember watching one where he was talking to a bug through the whole episode. Then at the end, he put it in a paper airplane, it flew to another boat and some guy squashed it http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif Murdoch was so sad... http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//CRYING2.gif http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif ------------------ - Roemello http://spiffyentertainment.8m.com http://roemello.80sxchange.com "The only true knowledge exists in knowing, that you know nothing" Jasper 11-02-00, 07:46 PM Roem, Remember when he was locked up and he sat on the floor yelling "TRASH BAGS......I WANT SOME TRASH BAGS!!!!!!!!" and when they gave him some, he used them to escape?!?! There is an underworld A place that is just as real but not as brightly lit A dark side... http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif hehe See? I still remember that.. (Or do you know what I'm even talking about?) Other shows I LOVED were: St. Elsewhere Cheers Night Court Knight Rider I wonder if I'm forgetting anything. Actually, I'm sure I am. I always had to catch V-The Series, The A-Team, anything that was Star Trek related, and I was always intriqued with the show "Banichek", (I'm not even sure of the spelling). Anybody remember that one? It starred George Papard. His charactor was an insurance investigator, and he used to do these investigations into cases and find some of the wildest ways that items had been stolen from musieums or from collectors. The dude was cool!! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//smile.gif 87 Shark 1-19-01, 01:31 AM Im my opinion, Hill Street Blues was the most well made TV show ever. I used to look forward to Thursday nights and if I would be out clubbing instead I would tape it. EBG 1-20-01, 07:17 AM My favorite 80's Shows: Cheers The Cosby Show Night Court Family Ties The Golden Girls Late Night With David Letterman(I was 2 when he first came on the air, but my parents could never get me to sleep early.) And though it didn'y start in the 80's, I all my life have watched Saturday Night Live. I think the funniest seasons of that show are the 1984-1985 season with Billy Crystal and Martin Short(i would flip out when Ed Grimley came on), and the late 80's shows with Dana Carvey and my favorite character the Church Lady. Sal Collaziano 1-22-01, 03:00 PM Hill Street Blues. Yes, an awesome show! I watched it ALL the time.. And Saturday Night Live of the 80s - my favorites.. I used to watch it from 11:30pm until 1:00am every Saturday Night. To me, those years were the best... ------------------ The loneliness just fades away thoughts of you just memories no cryin now for what we're missin time won't forget what you meant to me AstroGirl 1-24-01, 08:17 PM I agree. I mean, I never really saw them then, but as I see re-runs on Comedy Central, I realize that those were the best of times. ------------------ AstroGirl Sal Collaziano 1-25-01, 03:00 AM They show Hill Street Blues episodes on Comedy Central? ------------------ The loneliness just fades away thoughts of you just memories no cryin now for what we're missin time won't forget what you meant to me TJ 1-25-01, 05:25 AM Sal, I think AstroGirl ment SNL.
