Thanks all...really glad to be back. We did get on the road about an hour ahead of time but I was sick to my stomach most of the trip , I don't travel too well. The kids were pretty well behaved for most of the 5 hour drive. We stopped here and there but there were alot of hilly areas and 18 wheelers.

We arrived at Joe's cousin's house..beautiful..the neighborhood was in a very elite part of town with a beautiful view. We had 5 kids altogether for the weekend...ages 1 1/2, 4, 6, 6, & 8. The girls got along great with the boys so that made it nice.

We took the kids to a place called Coney Island which is an amusement park geared for our age group of kids. Food wasn't that good though.

Went to a horse track..the kids love horses and they were able to see them loading them and then being realeased at the beginning of the race right where we were standing. Joe's cousing knows the owners of the track so he had a couple of the horses and jockeys come over to the kids.

Went to a nice water park, a tour of downtown Cinncinatti, and so much more..

The 80s show! It was great...nothing but song after song after song from the 80's. Their costumes were such a wild combo of every outfit from the 80's. The dancing was great...I took a couple of pictures and will try to put them on as soon as I can figure out my scanner..haha.

The drive home was something out of a horror movie..we were all tired, cranky, wanting to get home...the girls were homesick and missing their kitties by now so they fought about 3/4 of the trip home.

We made it and it felt so nice just to get to our own surroundings. I knew we were home when my 6 year old was trying to get around a pile of stuff to get something...I told her I was sorry about the mess. She looked at me and said "What mess?"!! We had just spent the past few days in a spic and span $300,000 home and she says "What mess?" :) :) :)
