Absolute power is grand...:lol: Ok, did a little forum hacking tonight.

First, signatures have a limit **ducks tomatoes** I think I was quite fair though in setting it at 20 lines....most forums only allow 8 or less...this is just to cut down certain 'War & Peace' length sigs :p Of course it won't effect until those with over lengthy ones edit their profile.

Second, I remember this being requested before, so here it is....you can now send/receive attachments via private messaging :) Filesize limits are still the same as the main forums.

Sounds like a good idea on the sigs. Some were getting WAY too long. The attachments in pm's is a good idea as well. :)

I noticed if you click on the pm itself it wil have a button on the left hand corner for you to delete them individually... but personally I liked it better when you can delte 3or4 at a time.

Ok, those of you with missing delete buttons must be using the dark blue style....the buttons are still there, just too dark or bright to see....I'll try to fix that in a moment :cool:

Another little addition you may or may not have noticed...who's using what style is shown on posts...if you click on the style, you can instantly switch to see what other styles look like :cool:

I did another lil hacking tonight too....I've made it so that if someone double posts, the second post will be automatically edited into the previous post :D Just tested and it works like a charm :verycool:

Ther, no...the double post feature only consolidates on the same day....it's just to consolidate those who post once, then post again right after themselves in the same day :)

I set the variables, so there's not much need for too much testing...it works how I want it :)...this paragraph for instance was posted as a new reply :cool:

Roemy! You are a BB God :laugh: I love that the tag lines are shortened. Some of them tend to go on, and on and on.. :p

And as a double poster (often) this is a GREAT feature :)

Ok, before I forget, I figured out why some have no style :lol: If a user that hasn't logged in in a looooong time...like before we moved to vbulletin I think, the style doesn't show up until they edit their options and choose a style manually.

Noticed this when dreamin80s just came back....empty style field.

Yep, it's version 6.0 actually.. I wonder though.. when I had to use that piece of shit AOL, somewhere (don't recall now) I told it I was using AOL, that's the only way I could actually use IE.. and on the title bar it says "Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by America Online" BUT, I downloaded IE 6.0 when I got cable.. and re-installed it.. but it still says it on the title bar.. maybe AOL has my stuff screwed up.. I hate damn AOL!!!

Uh...glitter? I put no glitter in there. Unless you're talking about how sometimes glowing text seems to shimmer a little...that's caused by an animated smilie within the glow tag...for some reason, it makes the glow shimmer. Is this what you mean?

I thought there was a glitter one because Pamela's sig and in Zel's sig where it says "Officially Stalking Shakey", it looked like it was shimmering. I guess it was just the animated smilies moving giving that effect.

After last night, I think I know why...you may not be using the right browser. These effects only show up for Internet Explorer 5.5 and above.

So if I used Explorer and not Mozilla, I'd see them? :cry: :rolleyes:
