Anyone else like him? I think he is great, I tried to find a greatest hits for him in the country section but found it in the rock section. I thought he was country. I see though, that he charted on both the country and album rock charts, my favorite song by him, "Copperhead road" didn't even hit the country charts. Who knew?

What else did he sing, DJ? The name sounds familiar, but for some reason when I read it, I thought that I'd heard that he died...

I know that Sawyer Brown covered SDOTR in the 90s, because I loved it....my son did, too. He only likes the upbeat country stuff, though. :)

Still alive and kicking as far as I know. Dave Dudley did the original "Six days on the road" in the 60's but Sawyer Brown did the best version IMO.

I just read in the 80'snut newsletter that Steve is releasing a new album soon, I think that means he's still alive :lol:
