"Fleeing from the Cylon tyranny, the last Battlestar, Galactica, leads a rag-tag, fugitive fleet, on a lonely quest-- a shining planet known as Earth."

I was totally into Battlestar Galactica as a kid! Rick Springfield died in the movie, but it was great anyway. I watched religiously. The show aired in '78 and '79 and was hugely successful. They have been showing this classic on the Sci-Fi channel lately!

yeah, I watched it a couple times on Sci-Fi myself http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif It may be late 70's, but it's still kinda fits better in the 80's genre...it's got Rick Springfield, how can it not? http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smile.gif

I only very faintly remember watching that show. Mum reckons I liked it anyway. I'll take her word for it!
