Anyone one remember this show,it was one of my favorite shows(I still watch it eveyday on sci-fi)The last episode was one of the greatest endings to a series I think I've ever seen.

I loved this show when it was out. Still watch it on Sci-Fi when I can.

I didn't like it originally. Though I did come to enjoy it when I started watching the re-runs.

I would go out on a limb and say,it was one of the best series to come from the 80's,but thats just one mans oppinion

Actually. I think the 80's were great for sci-fi shows. Beyond Quantum Leap, there was Battlestar Galcticca (they're now making a movie), Buck Rogers (Hawk was cool) and Dr. Who.

Battlestar was another favorite of mine,don't know how good the movie will be though.I mean whats Battlestar with out Lorn Green.

Good point. Richard Hatch is directing it though, so it will have to be pretty honest to the original.

I hope so,remakes of ld shows have traditionaly been pretty bad,but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

QL was a pretty decent show. I can't seem to catch it anymore though.

I loved QL, I thought Scott Baluka did an awesome Job!! I love him on Enterprise as well!!

Great show! I've never seen the final episode though. :( We had repeats here recently, but I'm pretty sure we didn't get the final series. Bloody typical stupid New Zealand TV stations!

A Battle Star Galactica movie? How far away from completion is that? Lorne Greene wasn't exactly one of the main characters in the TV series, so it doesn't bother me if he's not in it. It would be cool if Richard Hatch and Dirk Benedict had roles in it though.

We can only hope they don't mess it up and it's good.

and of course that Scott Bakula play's the part.

I just read on a site(I can't remember the addy)that a remake series is indeed being considered but Bakula probibly wouldn't be involved because of his other obligations.
I don't think anyone else would do as Sam.
Actually,I don't think they should do a remake.They would probibly try to make the show edgier for todays audiences and the original series had an innocence about it that made it work.Any changes in that innocence would totally kill the whole concept and the likablity factor in my book!

I think Scott Bakula is great on Enterprise, I know he gets a lot of flak for not being cool like other Trek captains, but I luv him. Even if the dog gets to be a bit too much. "Hey Porthos... have some cheese!"
