Hey All! Anyone been to any cool 80s bands concerts this summer??? I've been to the Poison Hollyweird tour so far and that was a blast! Cinderella kicks serious ass live! I'm currently looking forward to the Metal Edge Rock Fest 2002 tour! Anyone seen the info on this tour? Dokken, Warrant, Ratt, Firehouse and L.A. Guns! Talk about another blast from the past! Anyone going to see this tour? If you're not familiar with it go to www.metaledge-rockfest.com and check out the dates! ;D Also there is Rock Never Stops tour w/ Tesla .. but I missed it. Any good??? :goofy: :D

I'm going to the Rockfest 2002 in Philly on July 25th. So far the tour is doing well, a good sign for us "hair" band fans.

The attendance numbers for the first 4 shows are as follows:

Somerset,WI 5,000 (Would have been more if not for all the rain the day before)

I'll be at the Poison show Tonight,

On July 4th, I will be attending Freedomfest here in Austin, TX. Bands scheduled to play are Skid Row, Jackyl, Vince Neil, Tesla, and a few local bands. I will come back with a review. ;)

Of course they have to play 4 hrs away from me!!!!!! Damn them!!! lol Guess I'll have to miss out this year.

That sucks. I know I have to drive 2 1/2 hours to the show in Philly. The 2nd leg shows a date in Wash. DC, but I'll be in North Carolina during that show.

Hopefully next year the places and venues will be better. My daughter has been waiting to go since the tour was first announced and when they announced the venues and dates, the Philly show is an over 21 club. She is very disappointed. Oh, well, we will just keep our fingers crossed that they tour again next year.
