This was a very interesting game to watch. This game proved to be a very fast-paced game. The score was a tie, 1-1.
Korea is a team with a lot of speed. The U.S. had a hard time keeping up with their players. The Koreans also had good, crisp, passing throughout the game.
The U.S. did good, given IMO the factor they were playing on Korea's turf and throughout the game, the Koreans were chanting for their team. Another factor was patience. The U.S. planned their shots fairly well.
All in all it was a great game to watch. Both teams were exhausted by the end of the game. Added on to that both teams showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the game.
This game IMO, is probably the hardest game the U.S. will have in the 1st round. If the U.S. can compensate lack of speed with well-planned shots and effective passing, they could prove to be a tough team in the later rounds.
