Alvin & Chipmunks was the coolest cartoon i remember, not sure if it was 80s or not, i think it was late 80s tho, i luved it!

There was a newer version of Alvin & the Chipmunks that aired in the early-to-mid 80s here. They updated Alvin, Simon and Theodore and had them playing all sorts of 80s hits and dressing up like Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, the Stray Cats and as punk rockers. :)

That was a cool cartoon. Loved to hear them doing 80's songs. :lol:

I used to love the Chipmunks.
I had two of their albums - Urban Chipmunk *country album* & The rock album they did in '79 I think.
I still have Urban Chipmunk, but alas the other one is no more. Mum was in her "Rock is from the Devil" phase and threw it out as well as a few other great albums we had. :cry: Thank goodness she's no longer like that and snapped out of that phase...*PHEW*

How about the Chipmunks go to the Movies feature? That was a slice of wierdness wasn't it? :)

I LOVED "The Chipmunk Adventure" movie!! The one where the Chipmunks and Chipettes flew around the world in hot-air balloons! I still have it on VHS :)

I missed that that cartoon! I used to get up just for that on Saturday mornings that and The Smurfs!
