The same virus that led me to upgrading my browser also seems to have eaten whatever it was that lets you 'preview' a visual file off to the side just by clicking a .jpg or whatever once. I don't suppose there's an easy way to get that back, is there?
If you are talking about viewing thumbnails in Windows Explorer, then give this a try - Enabling Thumbnails (http://www.pcin.net/help/articles/printout/viewthumbnails.shtml). Hope that helps.

That didn't do anything. I'm confused because this never required a couple of files to sit in the folder before???
I don't know if this is tied to explorer or not, but it's whatever it was that led the folder box to share a small 'frame' which showed a thumbnail of the jpg you selected so you didn't need to open a whole new box or program to see what it was.
