I have been a member here for a week now. I just want to say thank you to all of you for making the new people here feel so welcomed. I think this is a great place and I have spent many hours here the past week.

I think this is the nicest place I have visited online. The administrators and moderators are very patient and always friendly. It is nice to be able to ask silly questions without feeling dumb.

I know there has been trouble here recently and in the past. I hope you all know what a special place this is. You are all good and friendly people even though you disagree on things.

The people I have met in chat are all in there to enjoy themselves. It is a real pleasure to go into chat and be able to have fun and laugh with so many smiling faces.

Those are kind words, Pippi, and we are glad that you joined out little family. 500 posts in a week is very impressive (and a little scary...) I can't imagine someone hitting the round table after only two weeks.

I've said it a few times before in various places...it's been great having ya here and glad you're enjoying it! :D That goes for chat too....last night was very....interesting :naughty: :lol: ;)

I am not really counting the posts. I am counting my time here and I have been here more than 70 hours the first week, so I am not posting that much really.

This place is pretty unique in many ways. Unlike a number of other 80's sites, people here are friendly and nobody is here to put anybody else down.

It's pretty nice to be able to write a message like "I love the 80's!" and not get 20 replies from kids saying "you suck! the 80s suck! the 90s rulez!" and other equally lame messages.

Since I've been coming back here regularly for the past few months, we've only had one kid who was a real prick (at least that I've seen) and he got kicked off.

The xchange has a nice relaxed atmosphere.
