Geez, I don't remember most of those. Maybe because at that time I thought that the only cool cartoon was Scooby-doo! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tongue.gif

I was thinking the same thing, morningmyst. About the only one I recognize is Danger Mouse. Scooby Doo on the other hand was the staple of my Saturday morning (along with Johnny Quest).

Since we are talking Scooby Doo, I have a question. For some reason. his cousin's name is eluding me. Wasn't it something like Scooby Dum? Couldn't get away with that today. Not "Politically Correct"...

Hey-

Mostly the cartoon watching days for me were in the early to mid 80's. Missed all those late 80's toons, but some of the shows I watched were Spider Friends, Incredible Hulk (actually it was the Spider Friends/Incredible Hulk Power Hour), Thundaar The Barbarian ("Ukla, Ariel...ride!" and of course Thundaar's kick ass "sun sword"), Looney Toons (of course), Battle Of The Planets AKA G-Force, Space Ghost, The Herculoids & Thundercats!! Of course one of my favorite newer toons is The Tick, "SPOON!"http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif

Anybody remember those?

Hong Kong Phooey!!! YAY!!

I also really loved the Laff-O-Lympics !!!

You had the three teams that competed...

The Scooby Doobies, The Really Rottens, and the Yogi-Yahooey's... (my personal favorite team) cause I loved Huckleberry Hound and Auggie Doggie and Doggie Daddy

Hong Kong Phooey was actually on the Scooby Doobies team!! along with Scoob, Shaggy, Dynomutt, The Blue Falcon and Captain Caveman made his cartoon debut with them, too!

Just found a cool site with Laff-O-Lympics charachters.. see if this jogs your memories!!

Oh! The Laff Olympics were a hoot! I kinda liked the dog character from the "Really Rottens" though. Think his name was "Mumbly" or something. He always came on screen and snickered after pulling some devious stunt. Should I be concerned that I relate to him? Nah!!!
