Hi all. I just installed a new feature that will make it easier to reply to messages. There's now a reply box right at the bottom of every thread. I've seen this on a few vBulletin's and found it useful. So, I've installed it here. I hope you like it. :)

Oh. I know. There are no post icons.. It's supposed to be that way. It's just a quick way to post a reply. Maybe the next version will have post icons to go along with it. :)

I noticed you stuck it up top at first....I was gonna tell ya, that thing looked horrid up top and should be down low :lol: Is this an additional template? If so, you could probably just add the code from the reply bit that has posticons to this new bit, couldn't ya? Or is it just a hack....I saw you probing vb.org last night....:lol: I poke around those two main boards too to find little goodies to add....I can't add the hacks, but template and style enhancements I can do (that's where I got the new quote feature :D )

Coolness! Makes it easy to just jot down a few lines for a quick reply, instead of waiting for the reply page to load!! :)

Like Val already said, it is quicker. I like it so far.

I kind of miss the quick hit smilies and the "Insert Hyperlink" feature. I kind of use that one a lot in the Computer Issues forum. No problem though. I can always just click on the Reply button as normal.

I think it's a great new feature! And if you post as much as I do, you learn the smilie codes off by heart anyway! :lol:

Cool. I'm glad everybody is liking it. I can add some code in to get the instant smileys in there somewhere. I'll try to remember this when I get home today. Unfortunately, I think Post Icons are a different story. I'll try to delve into it more when I can.

I tried adding in the posticons this morning to that new feature, but it didn't work...smilies are probably easier to stick in...didn't try....gotta go take a final in a little bit :p

I love this new feature! Especially easier for us folks who are still stuck with dial-up and the screens load slow. One less screen that has to load now. :)

I must be slow......I just found out about it by looking at this thread!! I don't know the codes for all the smiles, so if I don't want to use them, I will use the reply box. I am a smilie-holic!!
