This week's topic was hard for me to pick just six nominees, so we are going to try something new and see how it works. There will be the regular six nominees plus a special "write-in" vote you can do if you do not like the nominees listed. My vote is going to Journey. They were selling out arenas everywhere in the 80's and had some of the most memorable songs.

Styx, pre "Kilroy was here". "Paradise theatre" is one of the best albums of all time.

I went with Journey as well, a fantastic sound and great band...well until Steve Perry left, that is. :(

I was torn between Journey, REO Speedwagon, and Foreigner. I ultimately chose Journey for the hit factor.

If I'd have thought a little longer before I made my choice, I'd have voted 'Other'. Def Leppard isn't on the list!! Yikes!! :lol:

Tough, tough vote...my 3-way was Journey, Genesis and Foreigner, but the vote gotta go to Journey :cool:

I like Foreigner best, simply great sound :)
