This is the first one you have done that I recognized them all. :) Recker 4-23-02, 08:10 AM Micky Tainted Love Hooked on classics Nobody Nobody is my favourite from that lot. Quite a clever song I felt. Roemello 4-23-02, 08:46 AM Got all but 3 this time...now we're gettin into the heart of the 80's, so I'm sure the number of recognitions are gonna increase  Christine 4-23-02, 09:51 AM I recognized 3: Baby Come To Me, Mickey, and Tainted Love. My favorite is "Tainted Love". :) I like these polls. sketcher 4-23-02, 09:54 AM Sylvia! Whatever happened to her? I wa sin grade 3 when that song came out and I loved it a lot and I was looking forward to hearing more form her (even at that young age, I was a groupie). Oh how I miss that song. You know what this forum should have? A section on where to find which one-hit wonder! BlitzKid 4-23-02, 10:18 AM The later the year the more of these songs i recognize! I really like Mickey! :) Guancho 4-23-02, 10:49 AM I can remember only 3... one is "Tainted love"; and my question is: is there someone who doesn't remember this song?. In my opinion, it's an 80s classic. One thing that I thought was interesting at Pure 80's pop is that the number one song mentioned in perosnal top tens submitted there was 'a-ha - Take On Me'. Second was 'Tainted Love'. It definitely is one of the 80's essentials. djdaffy1227 4-23-02, 05:54 PM Guess what? I knew them all  Did you know that Louis Clark, the orchestra leader on Hooked on Classics was the conducter of all orchestrations done on ELO hits? Bob and Doug McKenzie were actually Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas as characters from SCTV with Geddy Lee of Rush on guest vocals. Bertie Higgins was Tommy Roe's drummer in the 60's. Buckner and Garcia charted hot 100 once before as Will "The guard" and Vigorish with the song "Christmas in the NFL" Patti Austin and Dazz Band had many R&B hits but only one pop hit a piece. Same with Sylvia on the country charts, not to be confused with the R&B singer Sylvia who went top 40 in the 70's with "Pillow talk" LeRoux charted hot 100 in the 70's as Louisiana LeRoux. this charming man 4-23-02, 06:39 PM Only three, Mickey, Tainted Love and Hooked On Classics. angeleyes25 4-24-02, 07:15 PM I only know 4.My favorite is Tainted Love. rrredheaddd 4-24-02, 10:56 PM Mickey Tainted Love Pac-Man Fever Nobody pepsiprincess92 4-24-02, 11:37 PM I can remember all but 2 of them. ImSoooSure 4-26-02, 02:22 AM I recognize Mickey, Key Largo, Tainted Love and Nobody. Tainted Love is a great song. They had some other good but weird songs too. Vilji 4-26-02, 09:02 AM ok, I know all of them except "Nobody said it was easy". The CyberHippie 9-08-02, 09:03 AM Mickey, Pac-man Fever, Nobody, Hooked on Classics, Let it whip, and everyone knows Tainted Love. :) Based on title alone I wouldn't have twigged to 'Nobody', but I snagged it and as it turns out it's by the same person who sang "SnapShot" which I have been hunting for, but thought it was sung by Sheena Easton for some reason. The other tunes I missed I have yet to preview. I probably know all but maybe one to hear 'em. Anyhow, it's ludicrous time here in the great white north so I'll sign off by sayin' KEEP ON ROCKIN'... Later. totallycait 9-08-02, 10:29 AM I knew all but 2 of these, but I didn't vote for Sylvia because I heard the song for the first time just a few years ago when one of my friends sang it at karaoke.
