Billy Idol was the coolest rocker in the 80's and had some great videos, which was your favorite?

I voted for "Rebel Yell". That is the one video that makes me think of Billy Idol, plus it holds good memories of good times.:)

I voted for "Eyes Without a Face", mainly because it's my favorite Vital Idol song. I like the part in the video where they leather girls are smacking their rather ample bottoms to the beat of the music!!! :lol:

My vote went to White Wedding. I love the bride, the church, the motorcycle, and especially the bloody ring. Hehehe. Gotta love it all.

I voted for "mony mony". I liked the concert footage in the video, Billy and his band looked like they were haveing a great time.

My favorite Billy Idol is "Cradle Of Love". :) It's the only one I've seen, but a funny video.

White Wedding, hands down. Sorted missed out on havin that scene at my own wedding (Tho we -did- have the song playin, so it wasn't without -some- coolness). Are you allowed to get married more than once? If so - next time round with Xandra I'll have to set the perfect scene. ;)

Um, GUYS, that hot chick dancing on the bed in her drawers, and doing the splits?!?!?! HELLO!!!!! How could Cradle of Love NOT be the best?

Plus, it was from one of the most underrated comedies of all time, THE ADVENTURES OF FORD FAIRLAINE!

I went with "White Wedding", simply because it is so classic. (although, my favorite song of all time happens to be "Eyes Without a Face").:cool:

I cannot tell you how many times I practiced those moves from "Cradle of Love"!!!!! (Yes, that's my vote!!!)

I got everything down just right, and then tried it out on this one guy I was dating......made him crazy!!! That was one of the best nights I EVER had!!!!

I voted for Cradle of Love, too. Not so much for the hot chick herself as much for the guy's reaction to her.

LOVED Ford Fairlane. Saw it back when I was still working at the movie theater.

Every time it shows on cable, I watch it. Finally ended up buying it on video a couple of years ago.

This was a REALLY hard choice for me, but I voted "other". Don't Need A Gun has been my favorite Billy Idol video for a long time...but not my favorite song! I love all of them though. :apunk:

Rebel Yell. Hand's down. Steve breaks out that, lower the tremolo down to no string tension, then tap the string super fast against the bridge pickup (with some effects) to make that killer "machine gun" sound in a way that only Steve could do. Plus the video is kind of cool to watch also.

I of course liked all of Billy Idol's videos, but my favorite is Flesh For Fantasy because of the dancing. I also like Eyes Without A Face and Catch My Fall.

"Dancing With Myself" was my fave Idol video. Remember when David Lee Roth spoofed it in his "Just a Gigolo" video? That was pretty funny.

Also, anyone remember when Andrew Dice Clay showed up at the end of the "Cradle of Love" video? I'm guessing MTV asked them to put some other guy in there since they banned Dice from that channel.
