"you can live another 40 average years or I'll give you 5 years better than your Best."

Which would you chose?

Hmmm, probably the 5 best. 30 years from now I'll be getting old and decrepid anyway.

Besides I believe that when I die, I'm going to a better place, so why hang around here any longer than I have to. :)

I'd pick the 40 more years, longevity, hell yeah! Life is what you make of it in my book! It's never gonnna be perfect and there is going to be pain and troubles along the way, but that again IS life. I'm sure I would be insanely bored with five "better" years, not realistic. I wan't to be around to see how the world changes, see new developments in technology, hell, watch a family grow. Yeah...that't the ticket for me! :thumb:

40 Years....easily. The world is only as f**ked up as you let it be. Every day above ground is a good one.

Give me the 5 years,it's better to burn out than fade away.I don't expect to live another 40 years anyway.

I will just take the five years. Never did plan on living past thirty anyway. Why make someone live longer than they really want to.

I'd say that I'll take the longer years, and make them blissful rather than average. (which is what I get closer to every day with a bit of 'changing the inner stuff' anyway.

The 5 years would be great but 40 years is more time with the people I love. Even if it's not always good times. ;) Life is unfair at times but it's a blessing to breath every breath. :)

i plan on making the next 40 years pretty good, so having 5 years better than your best won't make much difference in quality

I'd take 40 more years to be with my family, and to be able to grow old and be around to spoil my grandchildren. You couldn't possibly make the next five years for me any better than that. My one great saddness in this life is that my kids don't get to spend time with my dad and get to know what a great guy he was. :(
