Just had to do this, Wang Chung gets no respect! They happen to be one of my favorite artists of the 80's and Mosaic was one of my favorite albums. Wang Chung was not a one hit wonder! They had 5 top 40 songs and did some great music for the soundtrack of 'To Live and Die in L.A.' Are there any other Wang Chung fans out there? If so, what's your favorite song by them?

Mine is 'Don't Let Go' with 'Hypnotize Me' a close second. The rest are sixes for me, and I like all of them except 'Praying To A New God'

"Let's go, baby, let's go, baby, come on...."

I voted for "Let's Go". I really like this song and I don't hear it very often. I also liked "Everybody Have Fun Tonight", but it's been overplayed over the years. And "Dance Hall Days" is an 80 dance classic!

Hey Greenway88, where did ya come up with this title? I used this exact same comment to Recker a few months back, and he replied, "Well why didn't you say so, let' party!"
 I remember that well, 'cause I laughed my behind off to his response!

Anyway, I voted for "Dance Hall Days" and "To Live And Die In L.A." came in a close second! :thumb:

"To Live And Die In L.A"...

This was an Academy Award-worthy song, and it didn't get nominated. It was eligible...surely they could've replaced "Say You, Say Me" or "Separate Lives" with this song.

Hell, the entire album kicked ass!

Sincerely,

John "outofplacechild" Kilduff

Playing Grant Theft Auto Vice City has brought back some good memories. "Dance Hall Days" is on the sound track. I haven't actually heard the song in years and I have to admit, it was a really great song.

OK, maybe I'll give Wang Chung a little respect! ;)

It means that everybody have fun tonight according to the band in 1986! :thumb: I do my homeworks!

Finally listen to the least-popular ''Wait'', I think it's underrated and now my favorite in the list!

My favorite is "Let's Go." "Dance Hall Days" is a regularly played song on radio stations in my area and you hear "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" about every 6 weeks on the 80s version of Backtrax USA. However, I don't ever hear "Let's Go" on the radio anymore. I have heard both "Hyptonize Me" and "To Live and Die In L.A." only one time ever and I have never heard any of the other songs on the list.

It sucks that they got a bad rap for mentioning their own name in one song. It wasn't a great idea but they did some really good work. My fave is Let's Go and I'm glad other people remember it.
