Roemello 4-05-01, 12:51 AM Last I heard, it's slated for release in the first quarter of 2002. Hopefully they don't push it back anymore http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tongue.gif

Sal Collaziano 4-05-01, 09:17 AM I don't even believe it's real. I've been hearing about Terminator 3 for years now. Freddy vs Jason? I've been hearing about that for years to...

Roemello 4-05-01, 05:11 PM No, they're quite real. You have to understand, movies of this magnitude take time to put together! It's just with some, the rumors start way ahead of the actual production, so it just seems to be unreal http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tongue.gif
Terminator 3 is actually slated for release in the summer of 2002 http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//wink.gif

Roemello 4-06-01, 01:40 AM The tentative date is 2002 right now, although I think that may be pushing it.... I would think it'd take until 2003 to get something that big squared away...we'll see http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tongue.gif

This is all good news! I knew about some of these but not all of them! So, 2002 is going to be a good year for movies. What about the sequels to Matrix and The Mummy? Anybody know the release dates on them?
I do know that the sneak preview of the movie Rock Star is about to take place, and be released to all theatres later this summer. There will be a lot of familiar songs on the soundtrack and faces in the movie as well.

Croc Dundee 3! I suppose I'd see it. I'm sure he's hada facelift! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif I hate it when all our Aussie stars get some fame then move out of the country. http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//mad.gif

Roemello 4-11-01, 03:08 AM There's no real confirmed tentative release date on 'The Mummy 3' yet...The Rock's going to start filming for it from now until July/August. Figure about 2003 most likely.
Matrix 2...believe it or not, is also set for a 2002 release! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif That's one I really can't wait to see....The Matrix kicked ass! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif

Freddy vs. jason? http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//yucky.gif
Now, Crocodile Dundee is another story. I love those movies. Can't wait to see that one.
Man! Australia sure has produced some good exports. Paul Hogan, INXS, Yahoo Serious and the GREATEST superbike rider of all time (IMHO) - Mick Doohan.

If I'm here and your here doesn't that make it our time?
They've beaten Freddie & Jason to death. I have a sinking feeling the movie will blow chunks badly. I hope it doesn't though. It would be fun to watch.
Another movie I think may suck royally is "Jurassic Park 3". Spielberg has nothing to do with it, and Creighton didn't write the book. WARNING WILL ROBINSON, WARNING!
Gee, you actually heard of Yahoo Serious and Mick Doohan? Wow! You surprise me...http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//eek3.gif

80sTrivia 5-03-01, 10:51 PM Yahoo Serious... I haven't thought about Young Einstein in years!!! Is Paul Hogan still married to Linda??? From the previews I've seen of the new Dundee movie, it doesn't look as if Hogan has had a facelift, Sheree!!! Isn't the new Jurassic Park movie supposed to be out this summer? The Jason and Freddy movie has the ptential to be good, but will probablly not live up to expectations...

cultleader 5-04-01, 01:35 AM I've also heard a rumor that their planning a movie wear Jasons brain is implanted in a robot and sent into space(or something crazy like that)I certainly hope this is only a rumor.

Roemello 5-04-01, 02:09 AM That's most definitely a rumor http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//tongue.gif Good grief, this isn't a sci-fi movie! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//laugh.gif From what I've heard, the premise for the movie will be a face off for control over hell. (remember at the end of 'Jason's Dead: The Final Friday' when Freddy's glove reached up and grabbed Jason's mask?
However, recent reports have said that this movie may be held back even longer as they're also working on finishing up the 10th Friday the 13th movie, 'Jason X'

cultleader 5-04-01, 02:42 AM I just looked up some stuff on Jason X and there is something about a Cyborg Jason, maybe thats what the rumor I heard was based on.They should of just let Jason die(an Freddy for that matter)I love the original movies of both Friday the 13th,and Nightmare, but it's time to let them go instead of tarnishing them with bad sequels(although I really liked Wes Cravins New Nightmare).Maybe the movie industry should work on coming up with some new and original ideas(And no I don't mean Scream-like crap)The last 10 years have been filled with boring teenybopper horror(Scream,I know what you did...,etc),blasphemis classic remakes(House on Haunted Hill comes right to mind, you just can't remake a Vincent Price Classic),or rediculas Vampire action fliks(John Carpenters Vampyres, from Dusk til Dawn, etc.)I,as a Horror fanatic, have suffered through more crap in the last 10 years and we,the Horror fanatics of the world, deserve a decent movie,Dammit!(ok,I'm done ranting)

Sure, I have. I like Yahoo's abstract humor and I LOVE watching the man, Mick, race. The man is a God on a motorcycle. He is, at least in MHO, the greatest superbike racer of all time. Would love to see him in person sometime.

Sure, Mick Doohan is the best! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//biggrin.gif Pity he's now retired.
MDC - Paul and Linda are still married and live in the bush somewhere over here, most likely in NSW I think? Bringing up their son, whose name escapes me at this moment in time. For someone who HASN'T has a facelift his skin sure looks a lot tighter than it did a couple of years ago! http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//stareup.gif

80sTrivia 5-04-01, 11:49 AM You are probably right, Sheree. Paul and Linda probably went in for matching facelifts!!! Does Linda even act anymore??? I guess only in moview with Paul... Did anyone else see the preview to the new Jurassic Park movie during last night's Survivor??? Looks very good...
