I was informed yesterday that I will be taking over the night shift on Froggy 94.7 for at least 6 months while the afternoon guy does his training for the Navy. The night guy will be moving to afternoons. There is a possibility that the afternoon guy may not come back and I will finally have the full time gig. The bad news is this means I will no longer be doing my Wednesday night 80's show. :( I don't get payed for my 80's show so it comes second on my priority list. I will still be doing Wednesday for the next two weeks. I want to thank all those who came to listen to my show on a regular basis!

On the one hand I'm happy for ya and congrats on the new job! :D But on the other, I'm sad to see the Wednesday show go :( It was the only thing that brought so many of us into the chat at the same time, now the place'll probably be empty again unless we make Wednesday an official chat night or something :p

Anyway good luck with the Froggy deal!

Indeed, this is heaven and hell...heaven for you and hell for us. But I hope that this will become a regular job for you...and if you could transform it into the Froggys 80s Rewind... :D

Way to go on the new job. I have never heard your show on Wed. though I have tried and failed. I don't think the computer I was on was capatiable.(I don't know I am computer stupid) But I have heard great things about the show. Too bad I won't be able to try in the future. Who knows maybe I will figure it out somehow this next couple of weeks.

Froggy is an oldies station. We play stuff from the late 50's to the early 70's. There is no web cast nor will there be. It has something to do with commercials and the free time they get on the web. Say you're listening in Cleveland and you hear an add for a car dealership in Erie. The guys in Cleveland say that is taking some of their costumers that would have gone to them and say it is "free" advertising. Stupid, I know, but that's how it goes.

As for the 80's rewind it will most likely be there, only someone else will be hosting. I have to talk to the GM at Gannon to see what he wants me to do. I'm thinking I'll call the original host of the show. Who knows, I may be back after 6 months.

For Val, Let me pay off some bills first then we'll talk marriage, which I'm not against :)

More on Froggy. My shift will be 7-midnight. I can probably come chat for a little bit after midnight, we'll see. I'm so excited and nervous and sad and happy......is this what it's like to have PMS? :lol:
