These guys had about 800 #1 hits in the 80's :lol: and they're still going strong today! What is your favorite Alabama hit of the 80's?

I went with "When we make love" and "Lady down on love" as a close second.

I voted for "If You're Gonna Play In Texas" and "Love in the First Degree" came in a close second! Alabama IS country! :thumb:

The Closer You Get (the further I fall). one of the few country sangs I know some of the lryics for.

Again, not a big fan of Alabama, but I did like the song "Love In the First Degree", so it got my vote. I remember my sister and I singing "Mountain Music" in the car when we were acting stupid and wanted to goof on red necks!!! :lol:

"Other". My fave Alabama tune of all time was "There's No Way." :)

ALABAMA was the hottest thing going in country music in the 80's everything they touched turned gold.
I had a hard time choosing one favorite song by them but finally voted for "If You Want To Play In Texas." My next choice would be a slower song..."Lady Down On Love."

I voted for Feels So Right. I could have clicked on any one of them and been very happy!:)

Wow, I'm actually posting something in the Country Forum. :eek: But I love Alabama. "Love in the First Degree" is my favorite.:)

I voted for "If you're gonna play in Texas (you gotta have a fiddle in the band)" It's the first song I heard by Alabama that turned me onto them :thumb:

I only recognize Love in the first degree.

The first four Alabama songs in the poll were the only ones I recognized. They were all Top 40 hits in Canada, but 'Feels So Right' was the one I best remember :)
