I was just adding to my sig and was wondering if there were any Social Distortion/Mike Ness fans here.

I love both Social D and Mike Ness' solo work.Some great old school Rock-N-Roll,I especially like how Mike Ness payed tribute to the old school country and Rock-A-Billy stars he admired while growing up.Some absolutly great Albums.

My favorite Social D songs are Prison Bound,Ball and Chain,Mommys little monster,Story of my life(really identify with that one),and sick boy.

My favorite Mike Ness solo songs are:Cheating at Solitare,Rest of our Lives,Devil in Mrs.Jones,Long Black Veil,All I can Do,and Ballad of a Lonely Man.

I am a huge Social-D fan! Every chance to see them I get I go...which is many since they are local. My favorite songs are Ball & Chain, Ring of Fire, I Was Wrong, Don't Drag Me down and Bad Luck. I was lucky enought to be at their Roxy shows when they did their live album it was a flucking blast!

I wasn't heavy into the punk scene but I have heard a bit of Social D.

Knew I could count on you to bring up this great band Culty. Social D is awesome. I haven't heard any of Mike's solo stuff, yet. My fav Social D songs are Sick Boy, Story of My Life, and their cover of Ring of Fire. I so wish I could have seen these guys live. Back in the late 90's they came to town (when I was living in the Dallas area) with the Ramones. I couldn't go, and man, I cried. Maybe one day...

Mike Ness' solo stuff is awsome,pick it up if you have the chance,I highly recommend it.

I used to play Mike Ness on the college station when I had a regular rotation shift there! Good stuff, we used to joke that his middle name began with a P, that way he could be Mike P. Ness :lol: College radio humor
